Each day we read the forecast and avalanche bulletin, pick the right valley, and stack quality laps: sheltered trees in storms, wide bowls when the sky opens.

The best snow right now. Powder Chase Norway is a mobile, conditions-led ski touring program that follows storms, wind, and the avalanche bulletin to wherever the skiing is prime. Some days it’s sheltered trees with deep, playful laps; others it’s blue-window bowls with fjord views. We keep the plan flexible, the decision-making clear, and the turns unhurried.

How it works

Format: 3–7 days recommended (single days possible). Private groups 1–6; ratio adapts to terrain.
Daily rhythm: evening forecast brief → morning plan → efficient ascent → quality descents → debrief and next-day call.
Typical day: 800–1,400 m ascent, 6–8 h outside, pace matched to the group.
Where we might go: Romsdalen, Sunnmørsalpene, Sogndal, Jotunheimen—and, for northern blocks, Lofoten, Senja, Lyngen. Single-base or road-trip style; we can relocate mid-week if it pays off.
